Alex is an award-winning miniature artist and the winner of the prestigious 2024 Slayer Sword. Originally from New Caledonia, Alex’s journey began not with rulebooks, but with a passion for tabletop storytelling and character creation. After a decade-long hiatus, he rediscovered the hobby through 3D printing and quickly rose to the top of the international competitive scene.
With a professional background in mechanical and software engineering, Alex brings a unique, logical approach to complex artistic challenges—from color theory to story telling. Based in Montreal, he is a frequent competitor in Golden Demon and instructor at Adepticon. In his classes, Alex focuses on bridging the gap between technical precision and emotional storytelling, helping students find the “soul” in their tiny plastic heroes.
